Highway Superintendent - David Putnam

The Scott Highway Department maintains 28 center line miles of road. Along with road maintenance for the town, employees also help in the development of the Andrew R. Fuller Recreational Park located on the south end of Skaneateles Lake. With the assistance of the Cortland County Legislature, the highway department also works during the town’s annual “Amnesty Weekend” which consists of accepting unwanted metals, white goods and unwanted “junk” from all town residents. The highway department consists of the elected Highway Superintendent, two full time employees and one part time summer employee.
